This bhporter.net and bhporter.com web sites were created to make available the research, tours, seminars, and presentations provided and offered by Bruce H. Porter. There are links here to PorterTours.com, the travel company that hosts, prepares, and provides a web presence for the tours and cruises that Brother Porter is leading and guiding as well as information concerning classes and transcriptions. The Bookstore on this site will contain many books by various authors connected to scripture as well as the publications of Brother Porter.
The bulk of this site will make available the years of collected research to those who may desire to have the information that may expand their thinking and increase their testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His Atonement, and Resurrection.
Bruce Porter has spent countless hours doing research, collecting, and copying this material to be used by himself and those who may want to carry on where he left off. As is often the case, many participants in classes would like copies, of quotes, studies, and/or sources that are used. To make this convenient many of these are provided on this site.
These files are open to those who chose to participate and use this site. When doing research the attitude of many so-called scholars is to hoard their research and studies forcing others to cover the same ground and research that they may have already done. This is NOT scholarship but intellectual pride and jealously. A true scholar is found in a character that is searching, sharing, and helping all others to search for light and truth in the most expedient way possible building on the foundations and steps of past research.
Many of these articles and writings found here are authored by members and non-member alike and may not be congruent with the accepted doctrines and concepts that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
